Moments, memories and celebrations are a huge part of each of our lives. Everyone has a personal bank of special memories that they can recall; maybe it was your team’s winning goal, a birthday party, a holiday or alternatively a highly anticipated concert.

The famous Budweiser label is trying to get us to not only reminisce about an array of past moments, but also to experience new moments that are still to happen.

Past advertisements include the renowned Budweiser frogs and the ‘Whassup’ guys. Despite being quite a few years old, both of these clips live on in the public memory and are still referenced frequently in popular culture. Thinking back to these adverts brings us together with friends and connects us.

Budweiser’s new advert is set to be just as memorable, mainly because the target audience is able to relate to the advertisement in question. Each and every activity and event focused upon in the new campaign is designed to tap in to emotions and experiences we all share, encouraging us to reminisce about the great times we’ve shared with friends and family.

But Budweiser aren’t just focusing on celebrating past moments, they’re also persuading fans to go out and make new ones too. The ‘great times are waiting’ slogan that accompanies the ad is a call to action to gather your nearest and dearest and get out and make some new ‘moments’.

The good-time scenes and the upbeat, yet dramatic, sound track make this advert feel incredibly inspirational. Those that have lost their sense of spontaneity will instantly regain their wild side and be ready to get up and go.

Budweiser are also the proud sponsors of the FA cup, which certainly gives the brand a good reason to celebrate. In fact, over the years Budweiser have sponsored many big name events, securing their public image as a good time brand.

With the new advertising campaign, Budweiser have tapped into the fact that they are a ‘sharing’ brand. Enjoying an ice cold beer with a few friends is one of life’s great pleasures, and Budweiser are happy to celebrate the memories that have already been created and the ones that are still waiting to happen.

So what are you waiting for? Round up a group of friends, fill a bucket with ice, grab some beers and let the good times flow!
