I’ve always been partial to silver jewelry. In fact, most of the jewelry pieces I own are silver and some are made of sterling silver. You might think that sterling silver jewelry is a better way of saying “fake.” Certainly, that is not the case. You’d easily find fashion necklaces made of sterling silver being sold in many jewelry stores both online and offline.

So what is sterling silver? The definition of sterling silver is clearly presented by one website. It says there that sterling silver is a combination of metal and pure silver. It would be hard to fashion jewelry from pure silver, because it is too soft. The jewelry would end up looking deformed if only pure silver was used to create it. Hence, skilled jewelers decided to incorporate metals such as nickel and alloy into the silver to make it more durable. The resulting product, thus, came to be known as sterling silver.
More and more people are starting to choose sterling silver necklaces over those made of pure silver because of its affordability. Imagine getting a sterling silver necklace at a fraction of a pure silver necklace’s price. Moreover, you didn’t even have to compromise quality. Besides, the styles of sterling silver jewelry never go out of style. Try to visit Boticca’s unique jewelry, and you’ll be treated to a host of lovely sterling silver creations that are expertly handcrafted.
Sterling silver can be easily customized to suit your taste. You can even choose a design that’s incorporated with your birthstone to personalize the jewelry. Truly, no matter how steep the competition is in the jewelry industry, sterling silver jewelry can stand its own ground because of its quality, durability, artisanship, and affordability. So if you’re looking for the perfect necklace for yourself or for a friend, choose a sterling silver necklace. You’d never go wrong with it.

4i’m not really critical with accessories whether or not they are for real as long as i can pull those off with my paired outfits. then no problem at all.

9i love necklaces but i have allergy with silver.i can wear silver but it has to be on top of my clothing and won’t get contact with my skin, that’s how i wear the few pieces of sterling silver i got as gifts from friends. my prob is that over time they turn blackish or grayish bec of non – use. i bought the silver cleaning stuff from US but it didn’t do any good. have any idea how to bring back the color?or are sterling really for throwing away after some time?thanks

11I’m more of a gold lover than silver lover. I’d love fancy materials too
But yeah, those silver pieces are a bit tempting and yeah cool to see the match in one of my outfits soon. thanks for suggesting this

13I seldom wear jewelries and when I do, I mostly stick to the same set and wear them for all occasion if possible.
My mom gave me a silver locket as a gift when I came back for my first job abroad. I got a silver ring as a present for myself, when I learned German. And to complete the set of jewelry I wear as my bringer of luck, a bracelet gven to me by my oldest daughter. These three pieces of silver jewelry, I wear now whenever I run a race.
I have to check out other sterling silver jewelries. Since it’s my birthday in two days, I might just add something special to the favourite set.

14I must admit that gold or even white gold is better than silver but sometimes, silver jewelries look nicer than the gold ones…

16I like silver jewelries too. That’s what I normally get as a gift. My day is not complete without wearing one. Well, you may say that I’m obsessed.
