There are two likely choices for mattresses: the Latex mattress and the memory foam mattress. When choosing either one for your bedroom, you have to take into consideration how the whole ensemble (frame and mattress) would fit into the bedroom with respect to the space and decorative aspect. It would be awkward to have a king size mattress on a queen size bed frame, in the same way that a double mattress would look awkward on a single bed frame.

As mentioned in the get go, a good type of mattress is the memory foam mattress. The memory foam mattress is a mattress that reacts and responds to body heat and weight by molding to the contours of the body. Hence, this mattress optimizes the support it can give you and your body. Most hospitals actually use memory foam mattress on their beds, because it prevents pressure sores. Furthermore, it has plenty of orthopedic and health benefits.

Another ideal type is the Latex mattress. According to known users, the Latex mattress is very durable, environmentally friendly, and can last for a long period. Just like the memory foam mattress, this is the perfect mattress for people with back aches, joint pain, allergies and pressure points. The Latex mattress is made from 100% natural latex obtained from rubber trees that’s why it can offer great support.

I personally think that both Latex mattress and memory foam mattress would make great choices if you were looking to invest your money on such. I’m currently using a Uratex mattress on my bed, but I’m thinking of changing it soon due to persistent back problems. I have a feeling that a memory foam mattress would make an ideal replacement. At any rate, a Latex mattress would suffice, too. Either of the two would be worth it, because of its health benefits and the social responsibility it can instill in you, just like the Latex mattress.

What about you? Are you going to choose a memory foam mattress or would you settle for a Latex mattress?
